What are the most peaceful aquarium fish?

Glow fish turned to be aggressive (we tried). I do not want my children to see the battle.

GlowFish should not be aggressive, assuming they are kept in the minimum groupings of 6 or more, are kept in a a properly sized aquarium, etc.
It is impossible to recommend fish without knowing your aquarium size, filter/heater info, how long it's been established, any other inhabitants, etc.

Glofish, as stated above, are not aggressive fish. Aggressive fish are oscars, jack dempseys, green terrors and other African cichlids.

As long as you keep a school of six glofish in a 15-20g tank, they'll be perfectly peaceful.

If there is some aggression, it's just nature. Not like you can hide your children from the real world forever.
