I imagine that GPA is important, but is it valued over research experience and depth of plan? Or is the essay really the deal maker? Please, anyone who has applied or knows a lot about the program, what is your experience with it? I would like to apply for a scholarship to use for summer+fall of 2014, so should I apply ASAP and see about differing my scholarship? Also, how big of a factor is the notability of my university? As you can see I only know the basics, so I'm happy for any info you can give me.
