I recently installed Photoshop CS5 Extended on my pc, and was trying to do some 3D rendered typography. I saw that I had to enable the Ray Trace feature in Preferences, so that I would be able to render out shadows. But for some or other reason, as soon as I do that ( switch from OpenGL to Ray Trace) it grays out the Repousse feature, and I am not able to use it.
Now, I am running a Tri-Core AMD rig, with a GeForce 9600GT card, and 2GB RAM on a 64Bit version of Win7. Is this sufficient, or do I need more RAM to enable me to use this feature? I don't wanna go through the trouble of buying more RAM, and then finding out that I never needed any more to be able to use Ray Tracing in PS5.
Any help will be much appreciated.
