What are the main differences between Army infantry and Marine infantry?

Not much role wise. Yeah a few differences here and there but overall not much. Except in USMC BCT a little bit more basic training.

I personally of course favor U.S. Army of any military branch simply because I am a U.S. soldier and SF.

One thing I can tell you, and not all young marine are like this, but a good handful of "young" marines are hot heads simply because the title of US Marine.

RED TOP kind of explained it for you a little bit there.

I agree with Red Top. Basically, Infantry is Infantry regardless of the Uniform they wear. The difference is how they arrive at the war and what their primary responsibilities are. Everything else is Rhetoric

The Marines are trained to establish and hold beachheads. The Army is trained to take over and move inland to fight to defeat the enemy
