What are the laws/requirements as far as breaks go when working outdoors in Texas?

I work outside in a very hot city in Texas (100+ degrees sometimes). Until recently we were given breaks every hour or so. Now a new boss is in and is stating we are only entitled our 30 min of unpaid lunch. The other 7.5 hours we are to be outside, ON OUR FEET with no breaks whatsoever. I tried doing some research and it states Texas has no law as far as 'coffee' breaks go but I found nothing specific. And we are not allowed to start taking our breaks until after 5 HOURS outside I would really appreciate any help you could give that will keep me from frying during summer.

I know how you feel it is that hot where I live too.
contact the eeoc and ask them that is just asking someone to drop dead from heat stroke.
