What are the horsepower and torque curve's for the LS650?

Here is a dyno chart showing a stock LS650, one with a Jardine slip on, and one with a Supertrap exhaust. It give HP, but not torque:

um, if you know how to relate torque to horsepower, you can mostly get away with just the hp curve above.

what exactly are you looking for from the torque curve?

that's what i guessed :bluethum:

it's easy - look at the HP curve, and the point with the STEEPEST slope is where the engine makes peak torque. from the green curve, looks like 36.5mph, which now you just gotta flip to an rpm.

actually pretty easy since the bike redlines at just shy of 70mph-rpm. so, find the redline of your bike, and cruise at about half of that (since 36.5mph is about half of 70mph) :bluethum:

Thanks guy's. Now I just have to get her a tachometer. I though I should tell you though, it's a five speed and the owner's manual says not to take it over 70 MPH in 4th gear until it hit's 1000 miles. 5th is maxed at 75 MPH and after the engine has set in I can take a bit faster for short periods of time. It will do 75 easy right now but I still don't know what red line it's supposed to have. I'm guessing it's 6800 RPM?
