what are the fashion styles and trends in high school?

im 16 and im moving to the states im from mexico but i speak perfect english. since im really nervous about the whole high school experience i would like to know what do girls dress like? which are the most trendy brands? stuff like that so that i dont look like im from another planet when i move.
 
In my school almost everybody wears Sperry shoes , aeropostale,holliester, american eagle,
abercrombie and fitch, and pacsun
 
Everybody from my school wears alot of abercrombie and fitch and holister also denim mini skirts with a cami is very popular with flip flops
