I know USB Flash memory can store A LOT of data from my computer. LIke 2 GB I can store about 4000 musics from my computer.

I also know USB Flash memory is like an external hard drive. if it is, can i also store my software like Photoshop, etc, etc.. why not?

How do I compare USB Flash memory to my computer ?

A USB drive uses Flash Memory.
RAM is Random Access Memory for running programs and retrieving Data.
External Hard Drives are typically Flash Memory.

To be able to use Programs, they have to be installed on the local machine, aka, Your Hard Drive, that has access to your OS. Yes you can store files and setup files on an external, but you cant run them.
