My husband is wanting to go active duty and he is the army reserves right now. he got approved to get released from his reserve unit and all he has to do now is go to MEPs and i was wondering what are the current mos's available for him because he was already told his current mos is not available. He is a 63B and his rank is an E-4. he has had over 6 years in the reserves so would he be considered prior service or what would they consider him because his contract isn't up until 2011 and he is wanting to go active now instead of waiting until he finishes his contract. any information would be appreciated. He has looked at a few other mos's and he is really interested in becoming a 13B and possibly get stationed in Fort Hood. what would be the chances he would be able to get that? i know usually it is either you can change your mos or pick your duty station but would it be a good chance that he can be stationed at Fort Hood?
