What are the conflicting parties in Afghanistan?

What are the different parties?
I'm also wondering what their needs and fears are but you don't have to answer that too.
 
one side is the fanatic group like Taliban and other side is the afghanistan gov. (Karzai) which is moderate and supported by the world but yet its weak and corrupt,
Taliban wants to have Islamic rule (sharia law) in the whole country and thats why they're fighting with the gov.
 
It is the Taliban versus the NATO forces.
NATO is due to discuss it at the end of this month.
