I have a beautiful 18 month old daughter. She is my entire world. Her biological father has visitation only with her. I got paper in the mail today that he has petitioned the court for full custody of her. I DO NOT believe that he should have this under any circumstances. I am a very fit mother. I work around his schedule and let him see her more than the papers say. He work a minimum of 58 hours a week. He is also on call 24 hours a day. I work at JCPennys hair salon and make my own hours.

I am engaged to a man who is graduating air force BMT January 8th. I love him very much and would love to spend the rest of my life with him. What i would like to know is...

1) what laws apply to us after we get married.

2) Can my ex boyfriend keep me and my daughter in the state of Alabama.

3) My fiance will be going to tech school in Washington State. If we get married I will be going there too because his tech school is 6 months long but will be starting in July. He will be going to washington in Feb.

i do want her biological father involved in her life, and i will be back to Alabama as often as possible to see my family.

someone who has also been in my shoes PLEASE help me out.

This is no differant than if your fiance was a civilian. It is a civilian matter but it may help you with the fact that your child will have military provided healthcare through Tri-Care and with the military comes alot of security and family programs.

Lawyer up!
