my background is in hospitality, I've studied sales and marketing, accounts and how to manage people. I want to open up my own accessories business as I think it's lighter than opening a fashion boutique. I'm doing a short course in fashion design and pattern cutting and I've worked as a sales assistant in topshop. I'm already at an age where I have to start getting serious with my career now but I don't know fashion trend and an eye in fashion. I've had over five years experience in customer service
I am getting help from the Prince's Trust with opening up my own fashion accessories which my unique selling point is fair trade eco-friendly products from asian countries like Japan and Thailand. I know that if I don't have the experience working in the fashion industry, they are going to send me to do courses. I don't want to do courses after courses if I don't have experience in the fashion industry because all my life I did different courses from different industries, I just want to work now.
