what are the chances, if I sign a two year contract with the Army, they will force me

to sign for another two.? I'm thinking of enlisting in the military but only want to do a two year contract. However, as I understand it, if I am still deployed when my two years are over, I am automatically signed for at least another two yrs.
If this is true, my question is: Statistically, out of 100 how many people will be forced to re-up. Any additional advise (especially from people who have/are enlisted in the military) would be appreciated.

The chances are ZERO. Compulsatory reenlistment is not part of the deal.

If your deployed when your ETS date comes up, you won't be sent home to separate. Once your redeploy home, you'll have ninety days and then you'll ETS. There is no new or forced contract.

They cannot force you to re-enlist.
If you can get a two year contract.. then you serve two years. You can be stop lossed but they cannot force you to sign again.
