I am barely going to be a freshmen in high school, but already, I am eager to become a marine biologist. I would like to study and work with marine life. I have always wanted to be a marine biologist. That's what my mom wanted to be, and growing up, I always went whale watching. I was constantly learning about marine mammals. Dolphins were my favorite. Right now, I am very, very interested in UC Santa Barbara. I know it isn't the best university for a major in marine biology, but I have talked to students that attend there and they all say that they love it there and that UCSB has a great department for marine biology and marine science. I also love the campus. It's beautiful and its right next to the ocean. It has its own beach! I guess what I am asking is what other UCs or CSUs have good departments because what if I don't get into UCSB? I have to apply to other ones as well. Right now I think that UC Santa Cruz and UC San Diego would be great as well. Any information, please?
