What are the best tires for a Harley Davidson 1200 Sportster for wet road traction?

I just got my new HD 1200 Sportster and was so excited I was riding it in the rain yesterday, but more than twice i almost lost it with the rear wheel slipping or sliding, oh gee I was so scared, but is there any type or brand of tire I could get that would correct this problem?
Note: I normally don't ride in the rain, but there will be times were I will be out riding and it may start raining, and i want to be safe cause i have to provide for my wifey-poo
kelly? it has the HD Brand stock tires, that are the same tire as the Dunlop 404
 
whats on it now ive always run whats stock tire came with on mine have 77,000 miles truth is when it rains its not like a car where you have two wheels that pull and to to steer have to slow down more than a car would.. dunlop is what harley pick so check your tires are they wore out cracked get new ones if not ride slower doesnt rain much where i live but when it does roads are slick like riding on ice til road oils are wash away
