but the thing is i have 2 tiger oscar's a plec and a ruby shark will they get eaten i just want them to clean my rocks and stuff.
i have a leopard plec is that just as good as a bristlenose
i have an external and an internal filter so that plenty filtration and they only get fed once a day and tried to clean the rocks with a scrubbing brush but that did not seem to do a lot i have brown and green algae on my rocks but no were else in the tank

The Oscars are likely to eat any snail you put in there. Just use a cheap toothbrush at each weekly partial water change to clean any unsightly algae off the rocks.

Any large amounts of algae is a sign your tank may be overwhelmed by excess nutrients - easy in a tank with three very messy fish, the Oscars and the Pleco. Make sure your tank size and filtration is adequate for these fish.

Well apple snails seem to be great algae eaters if you want snails. Some advice, dont bother it will take for ever with just snails. Try buying an algae eater like a bristlenose. They are great and they stay small. Not expensive either. Goodluck.

I recommend using algae magnet if it's on the glass and get a bristlenose plec to remove any in the tank.
Snails are so small and will take forever and breed like rabbits which you will find getting rid off later on in the future.
