What are the best apps to download for the tmobile mytouch 3G 3.5 mm ? I?

I just ordered this phone a few days ago but have not received it yet. Im just trying to look into it and see what this phone can do. Also, how many music songs and apps combined can the 8 GB micro sd handle? Will I need to get the 16 GB if i plan to have about 400 songs and 20-30 apps?
