Im a nursing student currently doing an assignment that involves doing a teaching plan and session. I have nearly completed this but i am giving the patient a pre-knowledge questionnaire, I am doing this because i feel it will help get my patient in the mood for the subject matter. Does anybody know any other benefits of testing prior knowledge? and if so any good sources which back up my point and i can reference .
