We've built a car and were instructed to make modifications to it. We replaced all wheels with CD's and also replaced the string with a series of rubber bands sowed together.
So, rubber bands as string: What are the advantages and disadvantages? For both speed and distance? (n. that the rubber bands were stretched somewhat when we were wrapping them around the axle)
I actually also want to ask about he CD wheels. Same question as for rubber bands.
