What are SSA Lawyers for?

I have a question. What are Social Security Lawyers there for if you have a matter that deals with SS but yet they won't help you with it nor help you find a SS Lawyer that does.

I needed help from such a lawyer the secretary was Debi and was told by her that they only deal in getting the SS Money for the people not in anything else like where SS says they are going to stop the payments or other things.

So what lawyer do I go to then if they claim that they only deal in getting people the money and not in anything else that has to do with social security?

Well according to my point of view, I think that appealing unfavorable decisions by the SSA involves a three-step appeal procedure, after which a dissatisfied applicant or benefits recipient may sue in federal court.
