Ive heard that you shouldn't give laying hens fruit ( is that true?), my silkie chicks are far from laying. Can chicks eat apples or try any other fruit? And What are some veggies that they like to peck at? Does any silkies out there have any favorites? I want my babies to have a happy and enjoyable life.
