What Are Some Safe, Effective Tips For Using A Home made Ouija Board?

Me and My Brother made a Ouija Board and Planchette out of cardboard last night. We tried it out around 12, 1 or 2 in the morning, but nothin happened. We were trying to contact our Mother.

So with that said, does anyone have any good, helpful tips on how to effectively use it?

I read online that we should start out with a protection prayer( We did before we started last night)

I also read that we should purposely move the Planchette in slow circles to "warm it up" and ask it a question until it starts to move on its own( Is this true?) and if it is true should we do big circles, or small circles?

Should we have it on a table or stand? or just sit it on the floor and sit facing each other? What is the best way to sit? face to face or sit next to each other at a table?

Does it matter if I used the bottom of a shoebox to make our actual board and craved out a Planchette from a flap of a cardboard moving box? Is it ok if the board and planchette are the same material?
 
I'm sorry, but there are no tips. Any kind of ouija board is just a toy. There is nothing mystical about them, and although I can empathize with you wanting to contact your mother, I feel I should warn you that you are wasting your time with a toy, there is no such thing as any kind of divination or magic.
 
You need to make it out of Mythril, and cast a level 15 Telepathic Communication spell. Make sure your Mysticism skill is above 30, and that you have your Talisman of Juxtaposition is equipped.
