What are some really good prepared meals I can make for a camping trip?

I'm cooking for myself and want to be able to prepare as many meals as possible before leaving for the campground. I'll do all types of meat and veggies, some fish to.

I'd also appreciate any tips for storage. Everything will be stored in a cooler with ice.

Why dont you just bring some hotdogs and roast them on skewers. Camping is supposed to be living off of and with nature. Fish and make a rotisserie style thing out of wood to cook on!

If you freeze what you can, it keeps your cooler colder without too much additional ice. I freeze chili, stew, lasagna, meat, etc.square containers. I bring frozen juice concentrate and mix it there. Pack the solidly frozen items in the cooler with the first day's on the top.

You can put the fresh stuff in another cooler. Hopefully you can have everything well sealed or can contain the ice in bags so that your food doesn't get soggy.

Hope that helps. Have fun. =)

Why not prepare everything before and put in the fire as you camp, I mean at least TRY to camp correctly. Put some fish and veggies in foil packets or wrap in foil including seasoning so all you have to do is place in or near your fire. You are going to have a fire, right Caveboy?
I'm former military and have lived in camps for months; kenya and somalia for starters. But, and I'll admit it, while camping in the states with friends I wasn't sure of where or the particulars of a camping trip, like I didn't know if someone was bringing a grill. I put a small roast in foil and added salt, onion and garlic and set it on the rocks in real close to the fire, pushed it around with sticks to turn and had a meal that everyone else with their hotdogs envied. I ate with my fingers and barked!!! Now thats camping!! I started the fire with a piece of steel and a flint and slept near a bear nursing her cubs.
