What are some PROS for military torture?

This is NOT my stance on military torture, but I'm forced against my will to do a speech on it and take that stance. Ideas? Besides that we can retract information from terrorists..
 
the pro's are it saves many american lives and lives of soldiers who have families back at home by letting them know the situation or if an attack or trapped is planned for them. it over all wins battles

i guess another would be to let a psycho take out his anger and make someone suffer. i mean the only pro is going to come back to extract info.

We use the interrogation tactics, we get answers many lives are saved. We don't use the tactics we fail to receive vital information. Many lives are lost. Is it really worth protecting a terrorist if it cost us tons of lives on our side? you tell me.
