What are some programs that i can contact to get financial aid for an immigrant?

I have been in this state for over 18 yrs graduated high school and now want to go to college, but due to my legal status I'm having a lot of trouble finding financial aid for school. I live in CA so I qualify for AB-540. for those who don't know its a program that allows illegal immigrants to pay the in state tuition, not all the colleges offer such program. I still need help finding scholarships so i can go to school full time. If any one knows any information please respond your help will be greatly appreciated.
 
It is actually very difficult for you to get financial aid actually. You need to be a citizen to get any money from the government.But there are so many scholarships that can help you out, no matter what the status of your residency is. Don't listen to Drew about not going to college because of stealing from the system. Citizens are worse they apply for welfare when they clearly do not need it. So equally we are all stealing from the government.
Also you do not need to be a citizen to be in college
 
people like you just take advantage of the system, you have been here for over 18 years and haven't become a citizen yet, maybe because you'll have to start paying taxes. You have not contributed to the system so you shouldn't get to go to college. You dont deserve a scholorship or financial aid or anything. There are plenty of others out there who decided to become citizens who are much more deserving than you. This is the problem with ou rbroken immagration system, plenty of Americans cannot afford college so they do not get to go, but if your an immagrant or here illegally, you get all the help yopu need. You should be deported for taking advantage of the public school system for this long, casue it was my tax money paying for it.
 
That's a tough one... even if an immigrant is to find a financial institution for a loan, many if not all colleges deny admission due to that fact.
