I've read:
Vampire Academy (loved it so much)
The Hunger Games
Night Huntress series (really enjoyed that)
The Mediator series (I loved these books, but I read them when I was about 13, so I don't know if I'd still be into it)
Maximum Ride series (I did like these, but this isn't really the kind of thing I'm looking for right now. I kind of feel like reading something that focuses more on the romance aspect of the story)
Preferably funny, with a strong-minded protagonist. Preferably female P.O.V
Please don't suggest:
Twilight saga
Anything by Meg Cabot (like I said, I loved The Mediator, but I'm not really looking for that)
Anything by Sarah Dessen
The Uglies series
The Mortal Instrments- I gave them a go, they were alright but I didn't like them a lot.
