I count everything in threes. And every third has to end on my right side. I count either in my head or using my jaw, each time I sway it to one side, it's one count.
Everything from letters, to numbers, seconds on a clock/watch, m&m's, toilet paper, etc.
If what I'm counting is not a multiple of 3, then I mentally add in an apostrophe, or comma, or a period, the sounds those make in my head is just a soft grunt. If I count, and the last letters lands on my left side, I'll count again to make the last land on my right side.
Also favor my right side. Mostly for when I'm eating, if I'm biting something in half, I make sure the first bite is a little less than half, so I chew it on my left, and then the rest, the slightly bigger portion, will go finish on my right side. I compensate with how many chew or bites I take, but the 'bigger portion' always lands on my right side.
