What are some of the popular drinks to order at a nightclub/lounge?

I usually just order Jack & Coke, because that's all I really am familiar with. I just have no idea what to order with all that loud music and not offending the bartender. What are some of the cool, great drinks for guys and gals? Thank you all.
 
My favorite is Jolly Rancher. It's made with vodka, peach schnapps, midori and cranberry juice. It's so sweet and good.

A Red Devil is also good too. The guys that I hang around with love it, if it's not that then it's Patron or Hennessy straight or Long Island Iced Tea.

The girls usually order any flavor martini or vodka & cranberry.
 
depending on the bar or club, bartenders are not fond of making flavored martinis and drinks that include ice cream. I would stick with the jack and coke. but maybe you should try a long island ice tea. its rum gin vodka and triple sec, sweet and sour with a splash of coke, its the best bang for your buck. oh and tip your bartender nice and you are likely to get extra booze.
 
Jager bombs are a huge hit in my area.

The bartender basically pours a can of red bull into a glass for you and pours you a shot of jagermeister.
You generally do these with someone because your mean to clink your shot glasses together then on the count of three you just drop the shot straight (shot glass and all) straight into the red bull and schoal the entire lot in one go.

Great drink for having little jagerbomb comps, see who can down them the quickest.
Always great way to get drunk quickly!
