I am curious and I also see that most of the smooth jazz radio stations are not their anymore. I don't know what's going on but I have a clue you don't see too many smooth jazz radio stations anymore because of the terrible economy we are in right now..i'm just guessing that could be the problem. But I used to listen to this jazz station in the New York area called CD 101.9 smooth jazz..and they changed it to a rock station. It's like the lack of popularity is gone from smooth jazz. Dave Koz actually said stop complaining about it not being the way it used to be and start embracing the way it is and the way it's going to be in the future...and I definitely agree. I think smooth jazz has been a lost art in music, and that's just my opinion.
