What are some new authors/books that I should read?

Here are some of the authors and books I have enjoyed. I appreciate all the help! Jumpa Lahiri (Namesake, Interpreter of Maladies), Carlos Ruiz Zafón (Shadow of the wind), Markus Zusak (The Book Thief), Elizabeth Gilbert, Kurt Vonnegut, and David Sedaris.
 
Ayn Rand( The Fountainhead, The Anthem), the fountainhead is tuff for some people but a good long book. Anthem is short and good. Both have stood the test of time.
 
Check these books out by author Christopher Alexander Berg on amazon.com or wherever else. I've already read all his books and i liked them alot. It's different from all the books that i've read.
