I've been reading Dan Brown, John Grisham, James Patterson, Daniel Silva, etc. mystery kinds of books, but I've decided that I would like to read something that's not featured in the front of Barnes & Nobles. I've recently become interested in pyschology books, but please suggest anything that's interesting but not written by some well known modern author [modern= still writing books, American classics are fine].

I've been recommended A Clockwork Orange by some friends of mine and some of Ray Bradbury's books (I read Fahrenheit 411and liked it), if that helps at all. I am introspective and appreciate pondering the existential and thoughts about life.

I'm a young man so not really into Romance, Drama, or Horror [not to say all in my demographic share the same tastes]. Political works are fine
