Blackman Redemption

I've been working with php and mysql alot as of late. I decided to teach myself the language last winter, and have been working with it since then. I have a project that i've been working on all summer, honestly its not a complex website. I just cant seem to get things organized, and the fact that I have no REAL experience and no reference to go to for help is really slowing me down. I always seem to second guess my work because im somewhat of a perfectionoist. Does anybody have any tips for a newby trying to start a site...anything would be of help, thanks
