what are some good Python programming (or Perl programming, or MySQL) forums on the web?

i have ALREADY googled and got a bit spoilt for choice, please only suggest one if you use it yourself, give an example of some useful advice you have recieved from it maybe, or at least mention how long you have been a user on the forum and what sort of help it is useful for.
 
I'm not familiar with Python and Perl, but for MySQL, I would suggest news://comp.databases.mysql - there are always good folks in that group who might be willing to help you.

For Python, I would suggest you start with news://comp.lang.python and for Perl, there are lots of groups so start with news://comp.lang.perl.misc.

You might also want to get yourself a news reader, and subscribe to a good Usenet service. I'm using eternal-september.org, free and fast servers (no binaries).
