What are some good places to go in Palm Desert, California?

What are some good sight seeing places in January to go see. Please don't include anything very expensive, please. Plus, something that the whole family can do. I am going with my mom, my 8 year old brother, grandpa, grandma, aunt, uncle, and my 2 year old cousin.
Please include something wheelchair accessable. Thanks! ;)
