Hey everyone I currently use some Specialized Eskar tires. They are nice, pretty good grip overall but Im looking for something a bit better. I do cross country riding mainly with some steep climbs, some steep downhills, and all that good stuff. My Eskars havent even been used up all the way and they are starting to lose traction really easy and make me mess up on my climbs. I do admit that I have had them for about 6 months and ride the shit out of my bike. Anyone know some good mountain bike tires with killer grip that last long and wont break the bank? Ive previously had WTB Motoraptors which were also very good. As for reliability, the Eskars have really been good with no flats ever!
let me know some good suggestions please!

You can get Michelin's which are incredible tires with a soft compound for extra grip but they go for about 100$ a tire. The best inexpensive alternate is kenda kinetics.

for XC I use Maxxis Ignitor in the rear and Maxxis Cross+Mark in the front and they wear well too!
