I mostly use power bait, salmon eggs, jigs, things like that. One day for hours I didn't get one bite. The weather was nice. I thought I'd try something else. I had brought along a can of starkist tuna I think it was. With the blue dolphin or shark whatever he is on the label. It wouldn't stay on the hook its watery and just falls apart. So I grabbed some mold able power bait (the dough like stuff that comes in tons of colors) and I mixed it together. Threw it in, and like magic I was reelin em in. In one hour I landed ?? good sized fish. I would have gotten more but I couldn't keep up I'd throw the line in few minutes later get a bite that went on for the rest of the day. I highly recommend that combination for anyone. I just read the label its starkist light chunk tuna that can be found at like wal mart. Any powerbait will do. Get enough of each to cover the hook try to keep the tuna fresh the strong scent helps. Anyone have any other 'recipes'?
