what are some good foods to eat for sporting events?

we've got a volleyball tournament all day with lots of endurance needed. what are some foods out team can eat where it would give us energy throughout the day, but not give us crashes. i know fruits are okay but they have sugar in them. i also know not to eat sweets as well as cheese or anything. are there any other suggestions as to what we can eat for evergy?
 
Peanut butter or Nutella! Its gives you sooo much energy b.c its a carb, a healthy sugar, a protein and A muscles builder all in one! Is great for long sustained energy and is so healthy.

Your body needs sugar to make glucose and absorb Electrolytes, the sugar in fruit is the sugar your body uses, where as candy sugar it doesnt.
