what are some good entry level road bicycles?

I'm looking at getting into cycling, using it for back and forth to work, and possibly a triathlon this summer. I don't want to spend much more than $800 USD.

There is nothing wrong with a Schwinn bike bought at a bike shop. just stay away from the ones sold at department stores.

If you have a 31-32 inch inseam a Forge cst 1000 is a great bike for less then $400.
