What are some good children's books?

I don't know what to read and I like reading children's books. I've read a bunch of good books but I don't know what else to read. I am looking for a pretty popular one that can be found in quite a few stores, and I've already read Harry Potter and Twilight.

Personally, I like the classic children's books. Some authors you should look into are:

E.B. White (Charlotte's Web, Trumpet of the Swan, Stuart Little)
They're about the adventures of animals that can talk. My favorite out of all of them would be either CW or TotS. I found Stuart Little charming, but its ending was very, very incomplete.

Roald Dahl (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory; James and the Giant Peach; Danny, Champion of the World)
No explanation needed, really.

Frank Baum (The Wonderful Wizard of Oz)
I don't think this requires any synopsis.
