What are some good books to read?

Hey I'm a junior in high school (16 year old girl) and want to start reading from the adult section. Usually I just go to the teen/young adult section in book stores but now I'd like to read from the main section (or adult section, what ever you choose to call it). So what are some recommendations?
 
I don't know if you've heard of the series, but the Pendragon books, I swear, are the most amazing books I've read in my entire life. No joke. They're spectacular.
