What are some good books for 2nd graders and pre-K kids?

My little brother (pre k) and little sister (2) are going to go to the library with me today,they always have a fuss about books, what books do you think they would like?!
 
when i was in second grade, i loved the Junie B. Jones books. they're really cute and i think that your sister will like them. i have no idea what your brother would like, sorry =)
 
Peter pan
Cinderella
Snow white
The sleeping beauty
The beauty and the beast
And there are many more similar books but the most important thing is NEVER get the book chicken licken
its supposed to be a children's book but its very sad because it doesn't have a happy ending and i remember when i was a kid i cried after reading this book because chicken little was eaten by the wolf in the end of the story.
