I'm 18 years old, and I love to read, but my taste is pretty picky.
I've read Twilight and New Moon, but IMHO, Stephenie Meyer is a horrible author. I can't stand Bella, as she is pathetic and whiny and acts like a two-year-old.
I like something that flows from the beginning, and has a little suspense. I also enjoy a good laugh.
My favorite book of all time is Atlas Shrugged, even though it is a lengthy read.
I also love anything by Cormac McCarthy or Johnathan Lethem.
At times I turn to Meg Cabot to get my chick lit fix, but as I read more of her books they all start to blend together and sound the same. I used to love Joan Bauer when I was younger, and still do.
I also tend to indulge in Pretty Little Liars, even though I feel really guilty after I finish it, since it is of no substance whatsoever.
Soo....any good suggestions?
