What are some good board games for 2 players that are as fun as apples to apples?

Blokus is a really fun game.
Battleship.
Scrabble.
Uno (its a card game)
backgamon is pretty fun.

Those are fun games, especially Blokus, for two people.
 
I need a board game that is fun for two people. I love apples to apples but that is only fun for a group. I would like something fun like that for two people. Any ideas?
