American cartoons)? Ok, so my fam is moving back to Japan...well I haven't lived there since I was 2 months old. SO I wanted to know what some popular anime or cartoons shows in Japan are that are similar to my favorite cartoons here I grew up with.
Spongebob
The Misadventures of Flapjack
Adventuretime with Finn and Jake
Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends
Regular Show
Invader Zim

I love those surreal type of shows. They all have slightly darker themes with really odd characters but I love their random comedy as well. I'm looking for something that is very similar to these shows...if there are any. LOL, almost all of the Japanese in me has been Americanized. I just grew up with these shows.
BTW, I'm 16 about to be 17!
