What are some fun photography techniques?

I'm trying out different photography techniques for fun. I've tried HDR, stereophotography, and will try photo stitching and light painting. I'm wondering what are some other fun techniques out there for me to play with without any additional equipments? Thanks!

I have a Canon 1000D and a 50mm prime lens.
