what are some firefighting training class's or camps around NJ or NY to help you...

...become a firefighter in NY? Iam a senior in high school now and iam going to go to comunity college for 2 years then take the civil service test in new york city, but i was wondering if anyone new of any other training corses or something to help your chances of being a new york city firefighter.
