I'm thinking about getting a new puppy this summer, but I have no clue as to which breed would be easy enough for us to handle.
I was thinking about a husky, border collie, or Australian shepard, but then I found out that all three are pretty hard to manage... either digging, needing a LOT of exercise, or worried about them attacking my cats.
I'm looking for a breed that can get along with my two cats, 1 year old and 4 year old, that won't dig to the point where they'll escape under our fences, one that we won't have to worry about attacking kids or our other dogs, and that don't need heaps of exercise every day (will only need maybe a 30 min walk a day at most).
I've had golden retrievers, and they're great, but I would love to try out another dog. I've also had labs...
Any suggestions? No small dogs please, looking for one no smaller than an Australian Shepard.
