what are some cultures differing from western cultures?

in western cultures, we properly lay the dead to rest, while in some other cultures, they put their corpses in trees or flow them down rivers, lakes, or oceans. what i want to know is can someone name me a culture that does that to their corpses?
and give me a link or something so i can see where you got this info.

In some cultures they burn they their bodies and put them in little jars over the fireplace. Barbaric.
