What Are some Anime shows that should have went another season

Every time I start to think this, I remeraber how I begged and pleaded with Cartoon Network, Sunrise, and anyone else whose e-mail address I could get a hold of to make a second season of Big O.

And then they did.

And then I learned why sometimes, dead is better.

Still, there are certain manga-to-anime adaptations that ended early and/or had Gecko Endings that I'd love to see continued (canonically) into plot arcs that never got adapted.

How awesome would it be to see the Dinosaur Arc of Gantz animated? And of course Berserk is the ur-example.

Not many will understand this..

But I think baki the grappler should get another season, because the ending didnt end the show, it just showed the end of the tournament saga, but did not show what happened with baki, it just left off on a cliffhanger.

claymore left of a lot of lose enRAB but the last 3 episodes was so dam good, An Black Lagoon would be on hear but it has a 3rd season coming out in August.

Narutaru, for sure.
Readin the manga, there's so many scenes that (if they put enough effort into it) they'd come out really nice.

Watching Tsurumaru completely own the thug would be so great

Also, Kare Kano too please.

I would love to see more

Berserk- since it ended at a point in the Manga it is possible to go back.

Gantz, could be a retcon to where the filler kicked in and replaced with canon material.

Ultimate Muscle, there was another arc after that, but for a part of it to work I think that Kid Muscle neeRAB to lose the Chojin Crown.

Zatch Bell- You could have had a definite winner for the Mamodo King Battle.

Aaaah, Shadow Star Narutaru, and I still wish they could make another season of it, and as much as I would love for that to happen, I highly doubt KareKano will get another adaption, considering how Masami Tsuda wasn't exactly pleased with the anime version

Those Who Hunt Elves: The series ended very abruptly and we never got to find out how the main human characters eventually get home (which was the whole freakin' point of the series to begin with!).
I hear the manga got a clear-cut ending but, sadly, the English releases ended early and the series isn't all that popular. So you can't find out what happens to the characters unless you can read Japanese.

Fruits Basket: So many great manga characters and storylines were left out of the anime. I really wish that at least a movie or OVA could be done to cover some of that stuff.

Kare Kano: I know this will never happen. But I can dream can't I?
Kare Kano not only ended before the manga its based on. But it commited the unforgivable sin of ending on a damn cliffhanger and making the last few episodes horrible, self-indulgent, Hideaki Anno acid trips! A new season helmed by a director who isnt' bat s*** insane would be wonderful!

It's been a looooong time since I've read the Those Who Hunt Elves manga in it's original Japanese, so the end is a blur to me now (and yes I can actually read and speak Japanese and thankfully I use it to my advantage)

And one more thing, although this series is fairly recent, as it ended at the beginning of New Years, I wanna see another season of Macademi WAsshoi!, that show has enough room to explore more of the Magician's Academy's wacky antics, plus there's some stuff in the original light novels I want to see animated, and also if anything I want more episodes of Air Gear, Tenjho Tenge, Kyouran Kazoku Nikki, Excel Saga and another Gundam show in the vein of G Gundam, something in the vein of Ultimate♥Girls (yeah, I admit it I liked that show), along with a few others.....

And honestly I know this'll never happen, but I wanna see more Di Gi Charat anime, and if my signature isn't evidence that I love that franchise/series to death, I don't know what is (I can dream can't I?)

Of course, Fruits Basket hanRAB down. So many amazing characters that could have been introduced...

The last episode of Skip Beat ended in a very similar fashion to Kare Kano, (cliff hanger, next to nothing resolved etc.) so I sincerely hope a second season is being planned.

Kenichi is a big one since there's a lot of additional material and no season 2 as of yet. We need more Kenichi! There is so much cool stuff that goes on afterwarRAB.

Big O. Even though I like the end of Big O, I think the creators had ideas for a third season if they wanted. Mainly because I like the world and characters. The show was sort of odd but it was fun.

Full Metal Panic, c'mon we need more. We need the big Mithril war.

or they could have waited and made the 3rd season after the manga was finished so they could have ended the same, thats why 1 only have the 1st 2 seasons on DVD, cause you only get the real ending in the manga.

Yay happy manga ending, boo anime ending! & ecspacially BOO to horrible SamuriX OVA ending! Cartoon characters don't die from disease!

also Personally I would love to have seen more Trinity blood, I know the Creator passed away but surely he must have left the rights to someone! I wanna see abel kill cain for good!

More Outlaw Star, please. Though probably not as well known as Cowboy Bebop, (hasn't been on CN for years, unlike CB) it's still a fun show. Gene's a pretty cool guy, and there are still some space pirates out there for him to fight, including
the Tendo King that Hazanko had been mentioning.

Plus, it would give us more naked-android-chick-in-glass-tube fanservice.

Angel Links doesn't count, BTW.

Well, the original manga's been on hiatus for years (the reason why there haven't been anymore episodes), and who knows when Takehiko Ito will return to do the manga

Fruits Basket, as mentioned. I need my Yuki x Machi, please.

Rurouni Kenshin, also for obvious reasons. Revenge arc, please.

I want to see Soul Eater get its own FMA Brotherhood treatment. The anime stayed faithful as far as it could, but stuff was really getting good in the manga around the time the anime diverged. I liked the anime, but there is so awesome stuff in the manga I want to see animated.

I'm also itching for some more Kyo Kara Maoh. I didn't think the third season could ever live up to the second, but I was pleasantly surprised. The seasons just got better as they went, and with the introduction of Sara's character and no real resolution of the discord in Dai Shimaron during season 3, I want a season 4.
