What Are some Anime shows that should have not went another season

I think of shows like Cowboy Bebop because if it did i do't believe the show would be as good as most people an I think it was an Talking about Cowboy Bebop Cartoon Network aired the last ep's again to night.

Nadia -- Originally planned for 27, but high ratings extended it to 39, with disastrous results--12 episodes of bad animation, reckless handling of the story and characters, and bizarre Looney Tunes-ish gags that are nowhere to be found in eps. 1-22 or 35-39. Only parts of 30 and 31 had any real value to the plot. I don't remeraber being this badly disappointed with filler episodes other than these.

Slayers TRY -- As much as I like Slayers, I felt that the series was becoming somewhat stale with this third season. In particular, I felt that the writers were running out of ideas for entertaining filler episodes. The Lina in Wonderland episode, the Justice Warriors episode... those were all dull and forgettable. (I hope Revolution's filler episodes aren't similarly lame, but who knows.)

Fullmetal Alchemist -- I love this show, but I am very weary about having another season. I felt that they closed things off appropriately in the final episode and the movie (to a lesser extent). I only hope it won't at least be poorly animated, boring, or messy.

I'll second Big 0. season 2 was a let down.

And I'll have to say Inuyasha. Promising start, but then it kept going and got VERY repetitive. Especially with the running gags... you can only take so many "sit boys" and that monk being a perv, etc. I think if you condensed the series to under 50 eps, it would have been decent.

I don't agree with Big O. Yeah, the show changed a bit, but different doesn't lead to bad. It did tie in with some elements of the first season, so to me it isn't quite the dramatic shift that some say it is. It was definitely building up to some of what season 2 followed through on.

I adore episodic Big O, don't get me wrong, but season 2 had its merits.

I respect and understand your opinion, but I don't really agree with the part about the filler episodes. I just finished watching Slayers TRY a few weeks ago and I though those episodes you mentioned were hilarious, especially the Justice Warriors episode. I could understand some parts about the episode where Lina was kind of in Wonderland, but that was still pretty funny.

I thought that TRY had a bit of a weak start, but it had a better middle and conclusion than I originally thought it would. I still respect and value your opinion, of course.

Pokemon - Have we had enough of that? It should've ended it's run on UPN (now The CW) instead of making it go all the way through D/P with The WB (merged with UPN as The CW) and Cartoon Network.

I guess the problem with me was that I was so spoiled by NEXT, which I think is the best of the series and very entertained by the filler episodes in the original that these ones in TRY seemed a little too stale. I'm not saying that TRY is bad, don't get me wrong; I agree it has an excellent ending, but it's my least favorite of the Slayers and I felt that the series needed to take a brief break before returning after that.

Not a season, but the Nadesico movie took a great big whizz on everything that made the show enjoyable.

But apparently Ruri fanservice makes up for crapping on the likeable characters!...

You're not kidding, Pokemon was great up until the Orange IslanRAB saga ended (even if Tracey was creepy as hell), but then it hit rock bottom for three years with the Johto League, and it can't be denied that it'll never be what it was - and that Pokemon's time came a LOOONG time ago.

I agree about Pokemon, it should've ended around Orange IslanRAB. Yes, I know it's still super popular even at 10+ years, and as long as kiRAB keep buying the carRAB and games and etc. they'll keep animating, but I still believe it hasn't been the same and never will be the same as the older seasons

Kirarin Revolution. Very slow moving, at least half the series is filler (or it feels that way), they could've cut out at least 40 or 50 episodes and got to the point faster. The last season is animated so poorly it's distracting, and they changed a few of the voices, too. They could've wrapped things up in the one before that, but they just HAD to keep going.

I disagree with Big O, because honestly, I liked the second season of Big O

DRAGONBALL GT honestly should've never happened (especially since TOEI was wanting to milk the franchise for all it's worth), and that after seeing Rosario+Vampire Capu2, yeah I gave up on it after watching 7 episodes of censored panty shots, and despite being part of the manga, I did not like the second half of Kodomo no Omocha for some reason

I understand what you're saying about NEXT. I think that it's the best series too, even though I haven't seen the new one yet, and it did have a great storyline along with some nice battles mixed in there. I do agree that there were some episodes in TRY that felt a tad too stale, mainly in the early and a bit in the second half of the series for me.

You also have a good point about how the series needed to take a break before coming with new material, which might have been one reason it took so many years for Revolution to happen.

Wouldn't need to go that far. To be honest, I think that continuing the show wouldn't be so problematic if they would just change the cast to match that of the game. But I do agree that Ash and comapny didn't need another season.
